Questions, answered

What is a PaaSbox?

A PaaSbox is your own private space on our platform. It has its own subdomain, storage, and network, and you fill it with apps from the App Store. Each app runs in its own container and is reachable over HTTPS at appname.yourbox.mediapaas.tv.

Do I need to manage a server?

No. We run the hardware, networking, certificates and updates to the platform. You choose apps, fill in their settings and use them. Start, stop, restart and logs are all in your dashboard.

Can my apps talk to each other?

Yes. Apps in the same PaaSbox share a private network and reach each other by their instance name, so Sonarr can talk to qBittorrent and Prowlarr out of the box. Apps in other PaaSboxes, including your own, are kept apart.

Where is my media stored?

Every PaaSbox gets a shared storage folder mounted into your apps (for media and downloads) plus a folder per app for its settings. Your plan sets how much space you can use.

Are there CPU or RAM limits?

Plans don't cap CPU or RAM. Each app is started with recommended resources for its job, for example 2 vCPU and 2 GB for media servers.

How do I pay, and can I cancel?

Plans are billed monthly through our billing portal with PayPal or card. Your PaaSbox becomes active as soon as the first invoice is paid. You can request cancellation at any time; it takes effect at the end of the billing period.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Contact us and we'll move your PaaSbox to a bigger plan. Your apps and data stay where they are.
